We are recruiting a Warehouse Team Leader for a large, well-established distribution operation based in Coventry. This is a hands-on leadership role within a fast-paced picking & packing environment, ideal for someone currently working as a team leader or an experienced warehouse operative ready to step up.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for supervising a team of warehouse operatives involved in picking and packing products, ensuring productivity, accuracy, and safety standards are met across the shift. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and motivating a team on shift
  • Overseeing day-to-day picking & packing operations
  • Monitoring performance, productivity, and attendance
  • Ensuring health & safety procedures are followed
  • Supporting new starters and handling day-to-day issues
  • Working closely with management to meet operational targets

This is a working Team Leader position — you’ll be on the floor, not office-based.

Shift Pattern & Pay

  • 4 on / 4 off rota
  • 08:00 – 20:00
  • £30,000 per annum

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience as a Team Leader / Supervisor in a warehouse or logistics environment
  • Strong understanding of picking & packing operations
  • Confident managing people on shift
  • Reliable, organised, and able to lead by example
  • Comfortable working long day shifts

Experience in high-volume fulfilment or distribution environments is advantageous but not essential.
