Scope of the Role
You\'ll be responsible for producing high-quality tooling components and maintaining dies and fixtures using both conventional and EDM wire erosion machining. This role is vital in supporting production efficiency and profitability through precision engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Manufacture components to tight tolerances using:
- Conventional turning & milling
- CNC Milling
- EDM Wire Erosion
- Cutter Grinding (training available)
- Program, set, and operate EDM wire erosion machines.
- Use CAD/CAM software effectively (training available).
- Read and interpret engineering drawings (including GD&T standards).
- Maintain machinery, tooling, and equipment to high standards.
- Collaborate with Toolroom and cross-functional teams.
- Assist in training apprentices and support staff.
- Participate in Kaizen and GEAR activities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and quality standards (IATF16949, ISO14001, ISO45001).
What We\'re Looking For
- Certified Tool Room Machinist or equivalent experience with EDM processes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and route cards.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Familiar with MRP systems and data input.

- Willingness to work additional hours when needed.
