IRS Group are currently recruiting for a Team Leader for their market-leading food manufacturing client based in Willenhall. An excellent opportunity for an ongoing role within a thriving business that specialises in the development of coatings, mixtures, and marinades for the food industry. This is a full-time and permanent opportunity for the right applicant. Working Hours: Sunday – Thursday Nightshifts (Apply online only) – (Permanent) x40 hours per week + Overtime. Key Responsibilities: * Leadership & Decision-Making: Confidently make operational decisions to ensure uninterrupted production during the absence of senior management. * Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of approximately 30 night shift employees, including section leaders, to achieve shift objectives. * Shift Coordination: Manage staffing adjustments effectively to address absences and ensure smooth handovers for the incoming shift. * Workplace Organisation: Oversee and ensure work areas are cleaned and prepared to a high standard for the next shift. * Problem-Solving: Address and resolve staff-related or ingredient/packaging issues efficiently during the shift. * Communication & Support: Build strong interpersonal relationships to manage employee concerns and promote a positive working environment. What Weβre Looking For: * Proven experience in leading teams within a manufacturing environment, ideally food production. * Strong decision-making and organisational skills. * A confident and approachable leader with excellent people skills.
