Industrial Recruitment Services Ltd (IRS) are currently recruiting for a MIG Welder to join our client based in Smethwick. Our client is a well-established manufacturing company offering long-term opportunities within a busy production environment. We are seeking an experienced MIG Welder to join the team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out tack welding on a range of metal products, ensuring all work is completed to the required quality standards.

Candidates must have previous MIG welding experience and be able to work efficiently within a fast-paced workshop environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy. A welding mask and all required PPE will be provided.

The Role:

  • Carrying out MIG tack welding
  • Working from production instructions
  • Ensuring all welds meet quality standards
  • Inspecting completed work
  • Working to production targets
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday 7:00am – 3:00pm
