We are seeking a motivated and reliable Service & Installation Engineer to join our team. This role involves servicing, maintaining, installing, and repairing equipment both on-site and in the field. The ideal candidate will have strong electrical fault-finding skills and a proactive, team-oriented approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Servicing, maintenance, and repair of equipment
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out breakdown repairs
- Installation and commissioning of equipment
- Conducting pre-installation checks (PDI’s)
- Attending site visits as required
- Providing technical support and guidance to team members
- Participating in an out-of-hours rota (1 week in 4)
- Maintaining stock levels of parts on company vehicle
- Daily communication with the office (typically upon job completion)
- Supporting general team activities and tasks as required
- Assisting with workshop/warehouse organisation and vehicle upkeep during downtime
- Attending quarterly engineers’ meetings (covering H&S, ISO9001, and continuous improvement)
- Participating in ongoing training, including Health & Safety
Skills & Experience Required
- Essential:
- Electrical experience, including single-phase and three-phase systems
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Desirable:
- Basic hydraulic knowledge
- Mechanical experience
