We are seeking a motivated and reliable Service & Installation Engineer to join our team. This role involves servicing, maintaining, installing, and repairing equipment both on-site and in the field. The ideal candidate will have strong electrical fault-finding skills and a proactive, team-oriented approach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Servicing, maintenance, and repair of equipment
  • Diagnosing faults and carrying out breakdown repairs
  • Installation and commissioning of equipment
  • Conducting pre-installation checks (PDI’s)
  • Attending site visits as required
  • Providing technical support and guidance to team members
  • Participating in an out-of-hours rota (1 week in 4)
  • Maintaining stock levels of parts on company vehicle
  • Daily communication with the office (typically upon job completion)
  • Supporting general team activities and tasks as required
  • Assisting with workshop/warehouse organisation and vehicle upkeep during downtime
  • Attending quarterly engineers’ meetings (covering H&S, ISO9001, and continuous improvement)
  • Participating in ongoing training, including Health & Safety

Skills & Experience Required

  • Essential:
  • Electrical experience, including single-phase and three-phase systems
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
  • Desirable:
  • Basic hydraulic knowledge
  • Mechanical experience
