FULL TRAINING PROVIDED, INCLUDING OVERHEAD CRANE AND FLT TRAINING

Industrial Recruitment Solutions Ltd (IRS) is recruiting for Production / Machine Operators to join a busy and well-established manufacturing company based in West Bromwich.

This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term position with full training provided and a significant pay increase once fully trained and qualified.

Hours

Monday to Friday, working weekly rotating shifts

  • 06:00 – 14:00
  • 14:00 – 22:00
  • Pay
  • £14.93 per hour during the training and probationary period
  • £17.94 per hour once fully trained and qualified
  • Job Duties
  • Setting and operating machinery
  • Loading coils onto the slitting lines
  • Monitoring machine performance throughout production
  • Carrying out product inspections and quality checks
  • Operating an overhead crane following successful training
  • Operating an FLT following successful training
  • Ensuring production targets are achieved safely and efficiently
  • Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working area
  • Reporting any machine faults or quality concerns

Requirements

  • Previous machine operating or manufacturing experience is preferred
  • Experience within slitting, steel processing or coil processing would be advantageous but is not essential
  • Willingness to complete overhead crane and FLT training
  • Reliable and punctual with good timekeeping
  • Able to work effectively independently and as part of a team
  • Good attention to detail
  • Strong awareness of workplace health and safety
  • Able to work weekly rotating shifts
