FULL TRAINING PROVIDED, INCLUDING OVERHEAD CRANE AND FLT TRAINING
Industrial Recruitment Solutions Ltd (IRS) is recruiting for Machine Operators to join a busy and well-established manufacturing company based in West Bromwich.
This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term position with full training provided and a significant pay increase once fully trained and qualified.
Hours
Monday to Friday, working weekly rotating shifts
- 06:00 – 14:00
- 14:00 – 22:00
- Pay
- £14.93 per hour during the training and probationary period
- £17.94 per hour once fully trained and qualified
- Job Duties
- Setting and operating industrial slitting machines
- Loading coils onto the slitting lines
- Monitoring machine performance throughout production
- Carrying out product inspections and quality checks
- Operating an overhead crane following successful training
- Operating an FLT following successful training
- Ensuring production targets are achieved safely and efficiently
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working area
- Reporting any machine faults or quality concerns
Requirements
- Previous machine operating or manufacturing experience is preferred
- Experience within slitting, steel processing or coil processing would be advantageous but is not essential
- Willingness to complete overhead crane and FLT training
- Reliable and punctual with good timekeeping
- Able to work effectively independently and as part of a team
- Good attention to detail
- Strong awareness of workplace health and safety
- Able to work weekly rotating shifts
