- Monday to Thursday, 15:00 - 01:30
- Pay Rate: £17.00 per hour
IRS Group are recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business in Nuneaton for an experienced Assembly Supervisor to join their growing PM shift.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced supervisor looking to join a busy manufacturing environment, leading a team and ensuring production targets, quality standards and customer requirements are consistently achieved.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervising the day-to-day running of the assembly department
- Leading, motivating and supporting the assembly team
- Planning workloads to meet production schedules
- Ensuring products meet quality standards before dispatch
- Managing attendance, return-to-work interviews and team performance
- Organising overtime where required
- Maintaining excellent housekeeping and health & safety standards
- Supporting training and development of team members
- Acting as key holder and securing the site at the end of shift
Requirements
- Previous experience supervising a team within a manufacturing, assembly or production environment
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to organise workloads and meet production deadlines
- Good IT skills
- Health & Safety conscious with a proactive approach
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing is advantageous
- FLT Licence preferred; however, training can be provided for the right candidate with suitable supervisory experience.
