Job Type: Full Time / Permanent

IRS Group are recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager on behalf of a growing logistics and distribution operation preparing to launch a new site at Magna Park, Lutterworth. This is an exciting opportunity to join a business during a major growth phase and play a key role in setting up and driving warehouse operations from the early stages of the site launch.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day warehouse activities, supporting operational performance, managing teams, and ensuring the site operates efficiently, safely and in line with customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee warehouse operations including goods-in, dispatch and general logistics activity
  • Manage and support warehouse teams across multiple shift patterns
  • Drive productivity, operational performance and service levels
  • Monitor KPIs and identify areas for continuous improvement
  • Ensure Health & Safety procedures are followed across the operation
  • Support staffing, training and performance management
  • Work closely with senior management to support growth plans and operational targets
  • Maintain stock accuracy and operational efficiency
  • Support process improvements and warehouse organisation

Requirements:

  • Previous warehouse operations management experience within logistics/distribution
  • Experience managing teams within fast-paced warehouse environments
  • Strong organisational and leadership skills
  • Good understanding of warehouse KPIs and operational performance
  • Ability to work within a growing and changing environment
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • WMS experience beneficial
  • Health & Safety awareness essential
