Industrial Recruitment Services is currently recruiting for an experienced Laser Setter Operative with a curent and valid Counterbalance FLT licence to join our client's manufacturing operation.Key Responsibilities:Set up, operate and monitor laser cutting machinery in line with production requirements.Read and interpret engineering drawings, job sheets and technical specifications.Adjust machine settings to ensure accurate cutting and consistent product quality.Carry out quality checks on finished components and report any defects.Load and unload materials using a counterbalance forklift truck.Move raw materials and finished products safely around the production area.Ensure all machinery and equipment are operated in accordance with health and safety procedures.Complete production paperwork and maintain accurate records where required.Carry out routine machine checks and report any faults or maintenance issues.Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.Essential Requirements:Previous experience setting and operating laser cutting machinery.A valid Counterbalance FLT licence.Experience working within a manufacturing, fabrication or engineering environment.Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and measurements.Good attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.Strong awareness of health and safety procedures.Reliable, punctual and able to work effectively as part of a team.What We Offer:Competitive hourly pay.Temporary work with the possibility of ongoing employment.The opportunity to work within an established manufacturing environment.Support from the Industrial Recruitment Services team throughout your assignment.Hours and days of work:Rotating Shift Monday to Friday 06.00am - 14.30pm and following PM Shift Monday to Thursday 14.00pm - 23.30pm and Friday 14.00pm - 18.00pmThis is a temporary assignment with the possibility of ongoing work depending on performance and client requirements
