We are seeking experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineers to join our busy maintenance department.
You'll play a key role in ensuring our production equipment and facilities operate safely and efficiently by carrying out both planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdown repairs.
We have opportunities across a variety of shift patterns, offering flexibility to suit different lifestyles.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance.
- Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults on production equipment.
- Minimise downtime through effective fault finding and repair.
- Support installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.
- Complete maintenance records accurately using the CMMS.
- Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with company procedures.
- Contribute to continuous improvement activities to enhance equipment reliability.
- Work closely with production and engineering colleagues to maintain operational performance.
What We're Looking For
Essential
- Recognised engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, HNC, or equivalent).
- Multi-skilled with both electrical and mechanical maintenance experience.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Previous experience within a manufacturing, production, or industrial environment.
- Good understanding of Health & Safety requirements.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable
- PLC fault-finding experience.
- Knowledge of conveyors, motors, pumps, hydraulics, pneumatics, and automated equipment.
- 18th Edition electrical qualification.
- Welding or fabrication experience.
