Trainee Recruitment Consultant

Industrial Recruitment Solutions (IRS) is an established recruitment business supplying temporary and contract staff across the manufacturing, engineering, logistics and industrial sectors.

As we continue to grow, we're looking for a motivated Trainee Recruitment Consultant to join our team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to build a long-term career.

Full training will be provided, so previous recruitment experience isn't essential.

The Role

No two days are the same. You'll be responsible for managing a busy and varied workload while providing outstanding service to both clients and candidates.

Key responsibilities

  • Building strong relationships with clients and candidates.
  • Sourcing, interviewing and placing candidates into suitable roles.
  • Managing temporary workers, daily bookings and client requirements.
  • Organising a busy diary, prioritising multiple tasks and maintaining accurate records.
  • Conducting client visits, handling enquiries and supporting the day-to-day running of the branch.

About You

We're looking for someone who is

  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • A confident communicator with outstanding people skills.
  • Able to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Positive, professional and eager to learn.
  • Looking for a genuine long-term career.

A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm (40 hours per week), with occasional flexibility to support out-of-hours requirements.
