Temp to Perm Opportunity
IRS Group are currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Team Leader on behalf of a growing logistics and distribution operation based in Coventry. This is an excellent opportunity for somebody with previous warehouse supervisory or team leader experience who is looking to join a fast-paced operation with genuine long-term opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the day-to-day running of the warehouse operation
- Leading and motivating a team to achieve productivity targets
- Monitoring attendance, performance and workflow
- Ensuring health & safety procedures are followed at all times
- Assisting with training and supporting new starters
- Working closely with management to maintain operational efficiency
- Supporting picking, packing, loading and warehouse activities where required
- Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and organisation
Requirements:
- Previous Warehouse Team Leader, Supervisor or Senior Operative experience
- Experience working within a warehouse, logistics or distribution environment
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure
- Reliable with excellent attendance and timekeeping
- Flexible approach and willingness to support the wider operation
Hours: Monday to Friday 2:00pm – 10:00pm
Pay Rate: £14.00 per hour (after successful completion of 12 weeks this will increase)
