Job Description: Industrial Recruitment Services Ltd (IRS) are currently recruiting for an experienced Counterbalance FLT Driver to join our client based in Bilston. We are seeking an experienced Forklift Counterbalance Operator to join a busy manufacturing environment, supporting goods in/out, production and material movement across the site. Candidates must have a valid, in-date accredited Counterbalance FLT licence, previous experience handling large lengths of steel and experience operating an overhead crane. This position offers a 12-week temporary-to-permanent opportunity for the right candidate. The Role: * Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck * Operating an overhead crane * Handling and moving large lengths of steel * Loading and unloading materials * Managing goods-in and goods-out processes * Moving materials to support production * Supporting general factory duties when required * Maintaining stock records using an MRP system * Carrying out basic administrative duties * Working closely with production and other departments * Maintaining a clean and safe working environment Shift Pattern: Monday to Thursday: 7:00am – 3:45pm Friday: 7:00am – 1:00pm Benefits: * £14.38 per hour * Weekly pay * Monday to Friday day shifts * 12-week temp-to-perm opportunity * Free on-site parking * Long-term opportunity The Person: * Valid, in-date accredited Counterbalance FLT licence essential * Overhead crane experience essential * Previous experience handling large lengths of steel essential * Previous manufacturing or factory experience * MRP/inventory system knowledge advantageous * Basic IT skills * Good understanding of health and safety * Reliable with good timekeeping and attendance * Comfortable supporting general factory duties when required Please apply with your CV.
