Roles and Responsibilities
- This is a full‑time hybrid role for a Metrology Sales Engineer, based in Telford.
- This is a field sales position, so whilst you will be based in Telford, there will be frequent travel across the UK, with the potential for overseas travel.
- Due to the nature of the role, there will be some flexibility of work‑from‑home options post probation.
- Responsible for Sales of Metrology Services and Products, whilst assisting in the development and undertaking of Sales and Marketing Strategies to achieve company goals.
- You will be a Field Salesperson, visiting new and existing customer site(s), creating new, and building on, relationships to provide a high level of service to all of our customers.
- Sales/Travel coverage will be regularly within the UK, and may occasionally be in Europe.
- You will be expected to secure new businesses through a variety of means, including but not limited to, customer visits, cold calling, exhibiting at sales/marketing events, social media etc.
- To manage Enquiries, Quotations and Orders through our internal system(s), with adherence to ISO 9001:2015 quality management system.
Skills/Qualifications
- Ability to build trusting relationships with clients and understand their requirements.
- Highly driven, willingness to learn, develop and support others.
- Full and clean driving licence.
- Metrology Background / Experience – in particular, CMM / Arm Calibration and Inspection Services.
