We are looking for a technical sales professional responsible for installing IMS acoustic & emission systems on customer sites and in the workshop, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and project requirements, including travel and associated duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation: Assemble, erect, and install heavy machinery, pipework, and mechanical building services according to engineering schematics.
- Quality & Compliance: Conduct regular QA/QC inspections to ensure all work strictly adheres to industry standards and client requirements.
- Health & Safety: Enforce site safety regulations by completing Method Statements, Risk Assessments (RAMS), and conducting toolbox talks.
- Coordination: Liaise with project managers, electrical teams, and other trades to prevent scheduling clashes and resolve on-site technical issues.
- Commissioning & Handover: Support lead engineers in testing, troubleshooting, and finalizing the handover of fully operational systems to the client.
Essential Requirements
- Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret complex P&ID (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams), blueprints, and technical specifications.
- Safety Certifications: Standard UK site safety credentials such as a CSCS Card minimum. The post will require some working at height and further standard needed but training will be provided.
- Experience: Proven hands-on experience in mechanical fitting, pipefitting, or industrial automation installation.
