We are looking for a technical sales professional responsible for selling advanced emission control systems – specifically SCR systems (Selective Catalytic Reduction) designed to reduce Nitrogen Oxides to industrial clients, power plants, and marine or automotive manufacturers. They will be required to bridge the gap between technical engineering capabilities and commercial sales goals, providing expert advice on NOx reduction technologies, urea injection systems, and catalyst selection to meet environmental regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Sales & Consulting: Act as a technical expert to guide customers in selecting the right SCR system for their application, such as industrial boilers, stationary engines, or marine vessels.
  • System Design & Quoting: Prepare technical proposals, 3D layouts, and detailed schematics for customized SCR solutions. This includes conducting cost plans, equipment schedules, and performance evaluations.
  • Lead Generation & Business Development: Identify new clients, handle cold calling, and manage relationships with engineering, procurement, and environmental managers.
  • Pre- and Post-Sales Technical Support: Provide site investigations (site surveys), troubleshooting, and on-site technical support to ensure successful installation and performance.
  • Regulatory & Market Knowledge: Maintain in-depth knowledge of local and international emission regulations (e.g., IMO Tier III, EPA standards) and competitive SCR technology trends.
  • Collaboration: Liaise with R&D, project managers, and internal design teams to refine products based on customer requirements.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Industry Experience: Previous experience in capital equipment sales, air pollution control, VOC/NOx reduction, or thermal dynamics is highly desirable.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of combustion processes, catalysts, and emission control systems.
  • Communication & Negotiation: Excellent interpersonal skills to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, as well as negotiation skills to close deals.
  • Software Skills: Proficiency with CRM software and CAD tools for reviewing technical drawings.

Typical Working Conditions: This role can involve travel to client sites, factories, and power plants for inspections and sales pitches. It is often office based or requires being in a field-based sales role, covering specific territories. Flexible to suit job title and work patterns.
