What You’ll Do

  • Develop high‑quality textures, colours, and organic surface qualities for 3D characters, digital doubles and creatures, with a focus on surface realism.
  • Define technical approaches and textures for a variety of hard surface and environmental assets.
  • Ensure assets are ready for look development and shot lighting.
  • Work closely with Show supervision and Leads, Modelers, and Look‑Development TDs to ensure consistency and excellence in achieving a photorealistic finish.
  • Actively participate in team reviews and provide constructive feedback during dailies.
  • Maintain a high level of productivity, meeting deadlines while ensuring your work meets our quality standards.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven professional experience in VFX texturing with a portfolio that demonstrates expertise in texturing photorealistic assets.
  • Proficiency in software such as Mari (preferred), Photoshop and Substance Designer as well as node‑based workflows.
  • Proven experience in creating assets in a feature film or production environment.
  • Familiarity with UV and modelling skills as a bonus.
  • Strong organisational and time‑management abilities to navigate schedules and meet project demands.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and assimilate new information quickly.
  • A collaborative team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a keen eye for realism.
  • A solid understanding of film production and computer graphics workflows.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Mari (preferred) or equivalent software such as Substance.
  • Experience with Katana, Nuke and Lookdev workflows is a plus.
  • A basic understanding of the full CG pipeline.
  • Production experience with industry‑standard tools and software.
