Laravel Dashboard Developer
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Laravel Developer to join our team on an initial short term contract moving to an on-going retainer basis. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the development of an existing dynamic Laravel dashboard project, focused on integrating data from multiple sources into user-friendly analytical dashboards for our sales, marketing and product development teams. The project aims to provide insightful and visually appealing reporting for effective decision-making.
Your responsibilities
Laravel Development:
- Utilise your in-depth knowledge and expertise in Laravel to develop, improve and refine a company-wide dashboard.
- Implement efficient and scalable code to ensure optimal performance of the analytical dashboards.
API Integration:
- Work closely with various external data sources (Zoho, GA4, GoogleAds, Magento, 8×8) to design, create, integrate and refine existing APIs.
- Develop API integrations to seamlessly fetch and display data within the dashboards.
Dashboard Design and User Experience:
- Collaborate with Project Manager to ensure the dashboards are visually appealing, user-friendly, and provide a positive user experience according to provided designs and requirements.
- Implement best practices for front-end development to enhance the overall aesthetics and usability of the dashboards.
Data Visualisation:
- Employ data visualisation techniques to present complex data sets in a clear and comprehensible manner as led by Project Manager.
- Collaborate with different departments and Project Manager to understand their reporting needs and translate those into effective visual elements within the dashboards.
Quality Assurance:
- Conduct thorough testing of developed features to identify and fix bugs or issues.
- Work closely with the Project Manager to ensure the overall quality and reliability of the dashboard project.
Environment Control:
- Work closely with Dev Ops to ensure secure, scalable and reliable environment for internal dashboard.
Documentation:
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for the developed code, APIs, and integrations.
- Provide documentation for troubleshooting and ongoing support.
Essential Skills
- Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in Laravel development.
- Previous experience in developing visualised dashboards for management/sales overview.
- Proven experience in creating and working with APIs.
- Comfortable with front-end technologies and best practices for creating visually appealing user interfaces (Tailwind CSS).
- Ability to analyse complex data sets and translate them into meaningful visualisations.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, QA, and project stakeholders.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and troubleshooting.
- Applicants must be UK based with preference of London/Sussex/Hampshire/Kent location to allow for in-person meetings
