IEIS (Industrial Engineering and Installation Services) is a specialist engineering business based at Stone Business Park in Staffordshire, delivering mechanical and structural engineering solutions across the water treatment, energy, industrial, and manufacturing sectors. The business is growing steadily and the design team is at the centre of that growth.

This is a Tier 3 Designer Engineer position, sitting within a small, close-knit design office and reporting directly to the Design Manager. The work spans 3D modelling, fabrication drawing production, working with structural calculations, and occasional UK site visits for point cloud surveys. The right candidate will be comfortable picking up a job brief, running with it, and asking the right questions when needed, not waiting to be walked through every step.

IEIS actively welcomes applications from site-based engineers and fabricators who want to move into design. If you know how steel goes together in the real world, Adam can teach you how to draw it. That practical grounding is genuinely valued here.

YOU'LL

  • Develop accurate 3D structural models using Autodesk Advance Steel from client data or internal designs.
