Electrical Contracts Estimator in Stone, Staffordshire | Hybrid (1–2 days in office) | £40,000–£45,000 | Permanent

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed cost breakdowns, keep pricing current, and support contract negotiations with solid analysis.
  • Analyse project specifications, drawings, and technical documents to define scope and resource requirements.
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates covering labour, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and suppliers to gather quotes and sharpen budgets.
  • Provide detailed cost analysis to support contract negotiations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator, ideally in industrial, utilities, or energy environments.
  • Strong technical understanding of electrical installations and industry standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schedules.
  • Proficiency in Excel and estimating software.
  • HNC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
