Responsibilities:
- Working with project managers, engineers, and suppliers, you will prepare detailed cost breakdowns, keep pricing current, and support contract negotiations with solid analysis.
- Analyse project specifications, drawings, and technical documents to define scope and resource requirements.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates covering labour, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and suppliers to gather quotes and sharpen budgets.
- Provide detailed cost analysis to support contract negotiations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator, ideally in industrial, utilities, or energy environments.
- Strong technical understanding of electrical installations and industry standards.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schedules.
- Proficiency in Excel and estimating software.
- HNC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
