We are looking for a senior designer to work on Widgetsmith and our other apps (Pedometer++ and Sleep++). Widgetsmith is used by millions of people every day who want to customise their iPhones to feel the way they want them to. We are looking for someone with a keen eye for visual design to help us create new themes and styles for our widget layout options. You’ll be helping our customers more easily inject their own style to their device, making their phones feel more personal.
Position Details
- Freelance/contract work
- Estimated Hours: Flexible up to 40 hrs/week
- Rate commensurate with experience
- Fully remote; preferably based in the US or UK
Required Abilities
- Be familiar and comfortable with current iOS design trends
- Be proficient with Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, and related software
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment where priorities may rapidly change as new things come up
- Must have the ability to coordinate multiple tasks and projects within set time periods
Essential Tasks
- Developing aesthetic themes for widgets in Widgetsmith
- Work on new widget types for Widgetsmith
- Create new wallpapers for Widgetsmith
- Work on future updates for Pedometer++ and Sleep++
- Create and maintain App Store promotional assets
- Create imagery and videos for use across social channels
