We are seeking a safety-conscious Shift Process Operator to oversee the production process at our chemical plant. You will monitor equipment, ensure quality, efficiency, and safety, and minimize human error through training and hazard awareness. Purpose of the role

The shift process operator oversees the production process, monitors equipment, and aims to improve quality, efficiency, and safety within the plant.

Key Accountabilities

• Utilize Data Acquisition software to monitor process parameters
• Read instruments and adjust settings as needed
• Pack and store finished batches
• Manually operate valves, pumps, and set points
• Collect scheduled samples for lab or on-site analysis
• Supervise goods in and out, including loading/unloading road tankers and operating forklifts
• Log physical data onto paper records for archiving
• Perform manual tasks such as cleaning and filter replacement
• Report issues immediately to the relevant manager/department
• Wear personal protective equipment at all times
• Previous chemical process experience is advantageous
• Proficient in MS Office applications
• Work according to company policies and procedures
• Ensure PPE is worn correctly and work is performed to high standards
• Comply with contractual obligations, ISO standards, and health and safety requirements
