We’re looking for a practical, reliable Warehouse & Workshop Assistant to join our client's team in Rugby on a temporary basis with the possibility for this becoming permanent for the right candidate. This is a hands-on role combining product assembly with warehouse duties, perfect for someone who enjoys working with tools and staying busy.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Assembling kits, metal products, electrical equipment, and other items from instructions and schematics
- Using hand tools and workshop machinery safely
- Carrying out basic equipment maintenance and keeping production records
- Checking product quality and reporting any issues
- Receiving, unloading, and stocking deliveries
- Picking, inspecting, and packing orders accurately
- Monitoring stock levels of tools and supplies
What We’re Looking For:
- No qualifications required however experience in a warehouse, workshop, or manufacturing environment is highly desired
- Comfortable using tools and following technical instructions
- Good attention to detail and pride in quality work
- Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
- Forklift licence desired but not essential
