Key Responsibilities & Job Content
Health, Safety & Environmental
* Maintains good housekeeping standards in accordance with HOKE and the 6S system of work.
* Complies with a safe method of working, adhering to relevant policies and procedures, reporting any potential unsafe practices or hazards
Continuous Improvement and Production Key Performance Indicators
* Assists with the training to ensure continuous improvement of colleagues and ensuring documentation is updated regularly
* proactively contributing towards their own skills and self-development
* Follow local procedures to maintain company compliance with published environmental targets
* To highlight any opportunities for process improvement as part of the company continuous improvement process
Machinery and Operations
* Check and inspect all machinery and other related equipment in your area at the start of shift
* Operates all equipment and processes in accordance with the factory instructions in working area adhering to safety standards
* Regularly inspects all machines for defects or wear and reports these to Team Lead and/or shift maintenance.
* Carries out quality control inspection at the correct time intervals in accordance with the control testing methods and records all data.
* Makes adjustment and minor repairs to equipment in the job holder’s control to ensure they are fully optimised.
* Ensures that any documentation required is correctly completed and legible.
* Carries out down day cleaning in accordance with the factory instructions whilst following LOTO procedures

* Previous or existing Manufacturing experience
* Follow instructions both written & verbal

* Carry out complex tasks & operate computerised operating systems
