The predicted salary is between 24000 - 30000 € per year.

Working Hours: Rotational 4 days on / 4 off / 4 nights on / 4 off

Shifts: 6am – 6pm / 6pm – 6am

Job Type: This role is temporary and can lead to a permanent position after a qualifying period for the right applicant.

Own transport required. Should be flexible to attend initial training in Corby.

We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Warehouse Administrator to join our client on a brand new site opening in Lutterworth Magna Park. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who would like to gain a permanent position and are looking to build a career within a fast-paced and dynamic warehouse environment.

Main purpose of job:

  • Checking in vehicles - Ensuring that all the Vehicle, Driver and Inventory expected matches the appointment.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

  • Raising cases/issues with external contractors, suppliers and customers/clients, through systems supplied, constantly monitoring progress, full training given.
  • Securing trailers and containers for receiving process, this may require some physical work working at a minimal height around 8 feet.
  • Checking out vehicles - Securing on shipment, ensuring that all the vehicle, Driver and Inventory expected matches the appointment.
  • Confident using software, WSM (Warehouse Software Management system), training will be provided, but some experience would be beneficial.
  • Understanding computer-based systems, such as email, Outlook, Excel, word processing.
  • Communicating effectively within the warehouse with colleagues, management, security team, drivers and clients, via email, telephone and in person.
  • Ensuring all vehicles leaving site are secure and all details are taken, whether they are empty or full.
  • Constantly monitoring vehicles' whereabouts in the yard full or empty.
  • Effective understanding of the need for in-depth handovers, how to solve problems, effective bookkeeping processes.
  • Understanding the lessons learned process, how we improve develop and what we do when.
  • Understanding of health and safety and fire precautions and prevention, desirable but not essential.

  • As an essential part of the team, it’s important that the Warehouse Administrator understands the warehouse processes of inbound and outbound, and the relationship between the drivers of the containers and also between the contractors and clients. Full training will be given and support offered throughout the initial training period, there will be potential to grow and develop within the company.

Experience, Qualifications and Certifications:

  • 1 year experience in warehouse administration or logistics support preferred.
  • Competent using Microsoft Excel and warehouse management systems.
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills.
  • No other specific qualifications are required as full training will be provided.
