Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday – away tramping work

Industria Personnel Services LTD are recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Tramper Drivers for a leading UK logistics company based in Coalville. This is a great opportunity to join a major transport operation with a fleet of 2,000+ trailers, moving everything from retail goods to food products across the UK. If you enjoy the open road, steady work, and a proper weekly routine – this one’s built for you.

What your week looks like:

  • Head out Monday, return Friday – full week on the road
  • Long-distance trunking with planned routes
  • 2–3 drops per day (nice and structured, no chaos)
  • RDCs, ADCs and depot deliveries
  • Curtain-side trailers and trailer swaps
  • No handballing – just driving and delivering

This is proper tramping work – drive, park up, reset, and go again.

Pay & Benefits (PAYE):

  • Weekdays: £16.50/hr
  • Saturdays: £21.00/hr
  • Sundays: £22.34/hr
  • Night out allowance: £25.00 per night
  • All holiday paid separately

Shift details:

  • Approx. 10–15 hour shifts depending on routes
  • Weekly away work with full rest periods
  • Consistent long-distance mileage

What you’ll need:

  • Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) licence
  • Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph card
  • Minimum 1 year Class 1 experience
  • Maximum 6 points (no DD, DR, CD, TT or IN endorsements)
  • Good communication skills and a professional attitude
  • Comfortable with tramping lifestyle (nights away in cab)
