We are seeking a capable, forward-thinking and well-rounded Marketing Executive to support the continued growth of two ambitious and well-established companies within our group:
- Industore: Intralogistics experts, and exclusive UK and Ireland suppliers of Hänel's automated storage and retrieval systems (AS/RS).
- Powell: A professional design practice, specialising in commercial fitout, refurbishment & furniture.
Both companies enjoy long-standing and ever-expanding client bases across a wide range of sectors. Both brands follow a professional, expert tone – appropriate for B2B and B2G audiences.
This is a varied, hands-on role, suited to someone with at least two years’ mixed marketing experience in a B2B environment, or an ambitious candidate with a specialised marketing background, ready to step up into a broader role. You’ll work closely with the Group Marketing Manager across digital, physical, and in-person activity – helping to shape the marketing function, and contribute to the adoption of new tools, systems and ways of working. We are particularly interested in candidates who can bring experience and advice on the latest marketing methods and technologies, and those who have fluency with new tools and software, to complement and enhance the team’s existing experience.
This is a broad-ranging marketing role, with scope for real ownership and input over time. The successful candidate will support all stages of marketing activity - from campaign planning and execution to performance analysis and ongoing refinement. You’ll have input into campaign and content strategy and be encouraged to bring forward new ideas and data-led suggestions. We are looking for someone who enjoys a wide remit and is comfortable working across multiple channels.
Main aspects of the role:
- Managing and maintaining brand websites, including content uploads and updates, and, along with our web-partners, discussing data, analysis, trial and error, and best practice.
- Assisting with campaign reporting and refinement (web stats, email marketing data, ad data, SEO reviews and more) as well as insight generation, with a focus on audience behaviour, ROI and continuous improvement.
- Conducting research to identify target audiences, understand customer preferences, and analyse market trends.
- Designing and refining marketing collateral, including brochures, flyers, case studies, presentations and digital assets (using Creative Cloud).
- Visiting client sites (approximately 12 times per year) to support case study development and on-site content (photography skills are advantageous but not essential).
- Collaborating with the marketing manager on campaign planning and delivery, including content conception, creation (copy and visuals), with particular emphasis on reviewing and optimising Google Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager and Analytics.
Requirements for the role:
- A minimum of two years’ experience in a broad marketing role – or the ability to adapt quickly if your experience is more specialised.
- Proven experience with Google Ads, Google Analytics, and Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Experience working with social media advertising, email marketing, display ads, Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and Pay Per Click (PPC) platforms.
- A self-starting approach, with strong initiative and the ability to work independently, and manage your own time effectively.
- Good organisational skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects and respond quickly and positively when priorities change.
Desirable:
- Familiarity with Dynamics for Marketing ('Microsoft Insights') would be a distinct advantage.
- Experience with WordPress.
What we offer:
- A collaborative and open working environment, where fresh ideas, continuous learning and initiative are encouraged.
- Exposure to high-profile clients and projects across two exciting industries – automation and logistics, and workplace design and fit-out.
- Involvement in exciting upcoming initiatives, including a website redesign and the implementation of Dynamics marketing automation.
- The opportunity to attend industry events (both as exhibitors and visitors), and functions such as award ceremonies, and networking events.
- A Cardiff-based role, with flexibility for some remote working and occasional travel to Ireland and Germany.
- A discretionary, performance-based bonus scheme, rewarding contribution and measurable impact.
- A competitive pension scheme.
- 25 days’ annual leave (plus bank holidays) growing with service.
- Death in service.
- Group income protection.
