Operational Accountant in London

Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and maintain financial records for multiple locations and services within the company
2. Manage payments and collections from clients, vendors, and suppliers
3. Conduct regular review of accounts to identify any discrepancies and resolve them in a timely manner
4. Oversee budgeting and forecasting for operational expenses
5. Prepare financial reports and analysis to identify trends and provide recommendations for improvement
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial data
7. Monitor and track inventory levels and costs
8. Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
9. Assist with the development and implementation of new accounting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy
10. Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices to ensure compliance

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
2. 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a logistics or supply chain environment
3. Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
6. Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
7. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
8. Attention to detail and accuracy
