We are looking for a Director of Risk Operations who will act as the project manager, primary point of contact, and process owner for all RiskOps-related initiatives within the Growth function. This role will ensure seamless coordination, effective risk mitigation, and operational excellence across all stakeholders.
Collaborate with Government Relations to ensure compliance with local regulations and conduct risk assessments related to government policies and legislative changes. Partner with the Legal team to identify and mitigate legal risks, review contracts, and ensure all processes align with regulatory requirements and corporate policies. Work closely with Product teams to assess and address product-related risks, ensuring that features and workflows are designed with built-in risk prevention and user safety in mind. Coordinate with Commercial teams to evaluate and mitigate financial and operational risks in partnerships, pricing models, and commercial agreements. Engage with Driver Operations and Safety teams to monitor compliance, address performance-related risks, and implement safety protocols that protect customers, partners, and employees.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- 5+ years of proven experience in Risk Operations, Compliance, or related functions within regulated or high-growth industries
- Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks and hands-on expertise in product and operational risk management
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with teams such as Legal, Government Relations, Product, Commercial, and Safety
- Proven skills in risk assessment, incident management, and data-driven decision-making
- Ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into practical, scalable operational processes
