The Compliance & Integrity team is in search of an experienced Internal Investgations Team Lead.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee internal investigations and global internal investigation team related to potential serious violations (for example, fraud, corruption, data breaches, misconduct, and compliance / Code of Conduct violations);
- Develop and execute investigation strategies, ensuring thorough and impartial fact finding;
- Coordinate with legal, compliance, HR, IT security, and other departments during investigations;
- Maintain confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive information;
- Ensure investigations align with global compliance standards, including FCPA, GDPR, SOX, and other applicable laws;
- Identify patterns and root causes of misconduct, recommending process improvements to mitigate risks;
- Support the development and enforcement of policies related to ethics, whistleblowing, and corporate security;
- Utilize digital forensics, data analytics, and cybersecurity tools to detect and analyze fraudulent or unethical activities;
- Collaborate with IT and cybersecurity teams to investigate breaches and unauthorized access incidents;
- Provide clear and comprehensive reports on investigation findings to the Compliance Director and senior leadership;
- Ensure proper documentation and case management for internal and regulatory audits;
- Recommend corrective actions, disciplinary measures, or process changes based on findings;
- Oversee the company’s whistleblower hotline and ensure effective case triage and follow up;
- Promote a culture of integrity and ethical behavior through training and awareness programs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Masters degree in Law, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field;
- 10+ years of experience in internal investigations, compliance, forensic accounting, or corporate security;
- Prior experience in a multinational IT or technology company is preferred;
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks (FCPA, GDPR, SOX, UK Bribery Act, etc.);
- Experience with digital forensics, e discovery tools, and data analytics in investigations;
- Familiarity with cybersecurity risks and incident response processes;
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with attention to detail;
- Excellent communication and report writing abilities;
- High level of integrity, discretion, and ability to handle confidential matters;
- Leadership and stakeholder management skills;
- Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE);
- Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA);
- Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP);
- Digital Forensics Certifications (EnCE, CCE, or GIAC)
