The Project

We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Business Manager to lead our Energy and Utilities division in the UK and Ireland. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the energy sector, particularly the current transformation towards renewable energy and digitalization. This role requires a strategic thinker with experience in consultative selling of technological solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute business strategies to drive growth in the Energy and Utilities sector in the UK and Ireland.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging market insights and industry knowledge.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and regulatory bodies.
  • Lead the consultative sales process, understanding client needs and proposing tailored technological solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies to inform business strategies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor\’s degree in IT, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in the energy sector, with a focus on utilities and renewable energy.
  • Proven experience in consultative selling of technological solutions.
  • Strong understanding of the current energy transformation landscape, including digitalization and renewable energy integration.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.

  • Experience with CRM systems and other sales tools.
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and compliance in the energy sector.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies.
