The Project:
We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Business Manager to lead our Energy and Utilities division in the UK and Ireland. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the energy sector, particularly the current transformation towards renewable energy and digitalization. This role requires a strategic thinker with experience in consultative selling of technological solutions.
You will be responsible for:
- Develop and execute business strategies to drive growth in the Energy and Utilities sector in the UK and Ireland.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging market insights and industry knowledge.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and regulatory bodies.
- Lead the consultative sales process, understanding client needs and proposing tailored technological solutions.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies to inform business strategies.
Requirements:
As the successful applicant you will be able to demonstrate experience in the following areas:
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in the energy sector, with a focus on utilities and renewable energy.
- Proven experience in consultative selling of technological solutions.
- Strong understanding of the current energy transformation landscape, including digitalization and renewable energy integration.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with CRM systems and other sales tools.
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and compliance in the energy sector.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies.
