As the Trade Compliance Assistant you will play a vital role in providing effective trade support to the business in a variety of areas relating to due diligence and compliance in an International market place What you will do: Manage and administer the Due Diligence processes for quotations and new trading partners, carrying out additional checks for high-risk country transactions Maintain compliance databases and reporting (internal and external) Develop and build relationships to ensure a high level of customer service is provided to stakeholders (e.g. Indra, suppliers, customers etc). Communicate with internal and external customers regarding compliance matters Process imports escalating issues to either the Global Trade Compliance Specialist or Contracts and Commercial Manager in a timely manner Complete Minor amendments, MSS Checks, bills of discharge Maintain compliance with international trade compliance laws and regulations, including but not limited to UK, EU and US (EAR / ITAR) What we are looking for: You will preferably have_ 2-3 years experience in a similar trade compliance/customs role _. We are particularly interested in receiving your application if you have experience in any of the following areas: Working Experience of Import / Export – HRMC / Custom regulations. Customer and supplier due diligence Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite Detail orientated with an organised and analytical approach Security Clearance: You must be eligible for BPSS security clearance.
