Senior Quality Assurance Engineer in Market Deeping

The overall objective of the Senior Quality Assurance Engineer is to provide detailed independent assurance and oversight at the project and product level covering applicable Customer, ISO accreditation, Aviation and Military regulation requirements, allowing Indra Park Air in conjunction with system audits to establish and demonstrate an effective, value add evidence-based support service. Achieved through establishing a flexible audit schedule aligning with project and programme management plans and schedules. Oversight of flow down requirements for supplier and sub-contract requirements.

Key duties for this role will include:

• Understand workflows and their interconnecting nature.
• Create interlinked process maps.
• Monitor applicable regulation changes, work with accountable process managers ensure impact assessments completed on affected processes and changes implemented.
• Manage Calibration and Repairs process.
• Facilitation of Change Review Board, Records, and change note management.
• Manage external regulatory contact, managing Engineering Change Request and Process change notification.
• Schedule and facilitate Investigation covering timely completion of Root Cause Investigation, Corrective and Preventative Actions and schedule.
• Plan, schedule, and conduct audits covering ISO9000, with focus on ISO27001.
• Perform supplier oversight audits against applicable standards and regulations as required.
• Support external regulation oversight audits.
• Conduct Product Physical Configuration audits.
• Support supplier oversight with regulation matters.
• Support contract requirement review and compliance position creation.
• Support preparation of contract documents.
• Deputise for the Business Improvement Manager & Assurance Manager activities as required.

Requirements

To be successful in this role you will have demonstrable experience in a similar Quality Assurance role, specifically with experience as a Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor ISO27001 or equivalent security auditing.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Engineering (B-Tech or equivalent)
• Regulation attendance (Part21J or Part21G or DPO) desirable
• Lead or internal Auditor ISO9001
• Auditing security processes and controls
• Manufacturing at equipment and system level.
• Creating Plans / Reports
• Completing compliance position statements against requirements
• Understanding of Risk assessment and mitigation.
• Understanding of FMEA Investigation facilitation (RCCA Root Cause and Corrective action plannings)
• Understanding data, trends and identifying opportunities for improvement

Security Clearance:

You must be able to gain and maintain the relevant UK Government security clearance in line with the job role (SC).
