We are looking for an ITSM Senior Operational IT Team Leader to support us with our upcoming projects. We are looking for a people manager with technical skills to:
- Lead the due diligence process, Analysis, Design and Transition phases for migration from ServiceNow to BMC Helix ITSM.
- Conduct a comprehensive assessment of the current ITSM environment based on ServiceNow.
- Identify and document all relevant processes, configurations, customizations, and integrations.
- Map current ITSM workflows to BMC Helix equivalents and identify any gaps or complexities.
- Collaborate with technical teams, support functions, and business stakeholders to extract a full picture of the environment.
- Assess potential risks, technical challenges, and dependencies involved in the migration.
- Deliver clear documentation and strategic recommendations to inform decision-making and planning.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in ITSM roles, preferably in consulting or project-based work.
- Demonstrable experience of leading technical teams.
- Strong expertise in BMC Helix ITSM – hands-on experience with modules like Smart IT, CMDB, Change Management, Incident/Problem, etc.
- Knowledge of BMC Helix deployment in On-Prem/SaaS environments using a container-based approach.
- Working knowledge of ServiceNow – capable of navigating, analysing, and understanding existing configurations and processes.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills – ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Skilled in gathering undocumented knowledge through interviews and workshops.
