As a System Test Engineer you will ensure our system designs fulfil the customers' requirements, in readiness for factory acceptance testing. Responsibilities include:
- Integrate, configure, and test customer systems, cabinets, databases, and third-party equipment.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Production, Purchasing, Planning, and other departments to ensure systems are ready for testing and delivery.
- Manage system readiness risks and communicate potential impacts to stakeholders.
- Carry out safety testing on equipment and cabinets.
- Support order fulfilment activities, including kit marshalling and inventory audits.
- Effectively manage workload to meet project milestones and customer deadlines.
Qualifications:
- A-Levels in Maths and Science or a HNC in an Electrical/Electronics Engineering subject.
- Experience in testing of electronic communications systems - VHF and UHF ground to air communication systems.
- IT literate especially in MS Office.
- Flexible approach.
Security Clearance: Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance is required and must be maintained for this role.
