The Project: Indra UK & Ireland has grown from 50 to over 400 colleagues over the past 2 years, with a large TUPE process imminent. We are looking to bolster our corporate and governance team to support both our colleagues and customers as we continue this exciting growth phase.

Role Overview: The Corporate Lawyer plays a pivotal role in the management of the legal structures existing in the Region. You will handle Indra Group's corporate and litigation matters in the region, ensuring that all policies and procedures are compliant with applicable laws and regulations.

The successful candidate will be able to:

  • Provide strategic legal advice and guidance to the company's executives, senior management, and board members on a wide range of legal matters.
  • Develop and implement legal strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Identify and assess legal risks and provide proactive advice and solutions to mitigate those risks.
  • Handle and oversee legal disputes, litigation, and other legal proceedings involving the company.
  • Collaborate with external legal counsel, as necessary, on complex legal matters or specialized areas of law.
  • Stay up to date with changes in laws, regulations, and industry trends that may impact the company, and ensure compliance.
  • Advise on corporate governance matters, including board meetings, corporate filings, and compliance with corporate policies.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as Human Resources, Finance, and Compliance, to ensure legal compliance across the organisation.

Requirements:

  • Qualified solicitor with 5+ years' post-qualification experience, ideally gained within a reputable law firm or in-house environment.
  • Demonstrable experience across both corporate transactions (including M&A, shareholder agreements and commercial contracts) and contentious matters.
  • Proven ability to manage a varied caseload with minimal supervision, taking ownership of matters from instruction through to completion.
  • Strong organisational skills and a clear sense of responsibility for delivery and outcomes.
  • Strong communicator with the ability to build effective relationships with clients and stakeholders.
