We are seeking a Supply Chain Manager to support defence capabilities by managing supply chain activities across inventory, demand and supply planning, supplier management, and inventory disposals. The role is critical in ensuring operational effectiveness of the armed forces through accurate data management and efficient logistics planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain item data records in Defence logistics systems.
- Develop and execute inventory demand and supply plans.
- Identify and manage optimal storage and distribution solutions.
- Produce timely customs documentation for inventory movements.
- Ensure inventory is materiel and financially accounted for.
- Coordinate inventory disposals in line with operational requirements.
- Support supply chain requirements throughout the CADMID cycle.
- Conduct management checks to ensure compliance with policies.
Person Specification / Essential Skills:
- Experience in supply chain or logistics.
- Stakeholder engagement and customer service skills.
- Budget management experience.
- Strong data handling, interpretation, and reporting skills.
