Role Overview:
The Head of Commercial (Works) will provide senior leadership within the Client, managing and developing the Works commercial team. This role involves leading high-value works procurement, providing expert advice on NEC contracts, and ensuring compliance with PCR 2015 and PA 2023. The role is highly stakeholder-facing, requiring influence at senior levels across Parliament, including MPs and directorates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide deep expertise on NEC contract options and author bespoke contracts.
- Lead and manage the Works commercial team, including staff development and task management.
- Drive commercial strategy and procurement policies for high value works projects (construction, facilities management, design, cost management).
- Support senior leadership in decision-making and act as a trusted adviser on commercial matters.
