Our client, a leading player in the aerospace sphere, is seeking an experienced Supplier Quality Specialist, electrical-focused, to be based full-time at a key supplier facility in Cheltenham. This site-based role plays a vital part in maintaining and improving supplier quality performance in accordance with the client’s technical and contractual standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct audits and assessments of supplier systems, processes, and products to ensure compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Review and verify AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs), including specific First Article Inspections.
  • Inspect hardware and assemblies (with a focus on electrical wiring and circuit assemblies) for conformity to specifications.
  • Support supplier improvement initiatives, including the development of training materials to enhance quality and productivity.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with 3+ years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in quality audits and supplier assessments.
  • Technical ability to perform source inspections, particularly of electrical components and assemblies.
  • Master's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • Background in aerospace supply chain quality or experience within aerospace regulatory agencies.
  • Familiarity with developing supplier improvement plans, delivering training, and providing hands-on coaching.
