We are seeking experienced Electrical Engineers with a Control Maintenance background, ideally within National Grid or similar environments, to join our team in delivering high-quality assurance and regulatory compliance. You will play a crucial role in identifying systemic weaknesses and failure modes, ensuring that safety, risk, and legal compliance remain at the forefront of our operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the distribution and use of electricity at both high and low voltage, ensuring safe systems of work and compliance with BS7671 where applicable.
- Manage electrical, electronic, programmable, and safety-related control systems for process control equipment and machinery, including design, installation, testing, maintenance, and modification.
- Apply standards such as ISO 13849, IEC 62061, and IEC 60304-1 where relevant.
- Ensure the safe application of electrical equipment in hazardous atmospheres.
- Influence change across the organization through strong communication skills.
- Perform risk assessments and analyses underlying gaps or deficiencies in risk management systems.
- Take initiative and make decisive, evidence-based decisions.
- Organise, plan, and deliver high-quality outcomes on time and to standard.

- Proven experience in electrical and control engineering, ideally in National Grid or similar environments.
- Expertise in assurance, regulatory compliance, and safety systems.
