Client is looking for an experienced Built Asset Security Advisor / Security Engineer / Project Security Advisor to support the delivery of security engineering across high-security government facilities. The role focuses on ensuring protective security is designed into complex infrastructure projects, including secure laboratories and other sensitive environments.
Key Experience Required
- Extensive experience in security engineering, protective security or built asset security within the built environment.
- Experience working on high-security, regulated or critical infrastructure facilities.
- Strong knowledge of physical, technical and operational security principles.
- Experience conducting security risk assessments, threat and vulnerability assessments, and security assurance.
- Ability to develop and review security strategies, technical specifications and assurance documentation.
- Experience working alongside architects, engineers and project teams to embed security throughout the project lifecycle.
- Knowledge of Hostile Vehicle Mitigation (HVM), perimeter security and protective security measures.
- Understanding of Schedule 5 of the Anti-Terrorism, Crime and Security Act 2001, ISO 19650-5, ISO 23234, and the NPSA Surreptitious Threat Mitigation Process.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate complex security requirements.
