Overview: Reporting to the Head of Knowledge, the Knowledge System Manager will take operational ownership of Clients knowledge systems across the Legal Domain, the Legal departments and wider civil service. The role combines line management, project management, and system development responsibilities to ensure the effective use and continuous improvement of knowledge systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the team maintaining Clients knowledge systems (SharePoint, WordPress, Sitecore, and document automation tools).
- Ensure systems are effective, accessible, and meet organizational needs.
- Innovate and optimise existing systems to support business priorities.
- Project manage system improvements and work with stakeholders for value-driven outcomes.
- Build relationships with internal and external technology experts.
- Support Knowledge & Information (K&I) projects and deliver training to users.
- Advise senior stakeholders on knowledge system strategy, technology, and best practices.
- Monitor developments in legal technology, AI, and digital knowledge management.
Requirements:
- Experience managing knowledge systems and data-driven platforms.
- Strong project management and team leadership skills.
- Ability to analyse complex data and design management information reports.
- Familiarity with legal/knowledge management tools and digital transformation initiatives.
