Overview: The Senior Commercial Manager will provide strategic commercial leadership on a high-profile digital programme within Client Corporate Services. This is a senior, non-technical role focused on governance, procurement, stakeholder management, and enterprise-level commercial strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead commercial strategy from inception to contract award
- Manage high-value, high-risk contracts and frameworks
- Ensure compliance, governance, and value for money
- Influence senior stakeholders and suppliers
- Oversee end-to-end procurement and contract lifecycle
- Provide programme-level insights and support strategic decision-making
Essential Experience:
- HMT Green Book business cases
- Public Accounts (PA) 2023 exposure
- Large, complex public sector programmes
- Procurement and commercial lifecycle management
- High assurance/governance environments
- Influencing senior stakeholders
- CCS frameworks
Desirable:
- Large-scale Programme procurements
- MCIPS qualification
- Atamis procurement system
