The Client: Globally renowned in the aerospace and defence sector, supporting major UK aviation programmes including the Apache, Chinook, C-17 Globemaster III, P-8 Poseidon and E-7 Wedgetail, delivering aircraft sustainment, maintenance, engineering support, and operational services to the UK armed forces.

Role Overview: The Documentation Controller will operate within a Maintenance, Repair Overhaul (MRO) environment, supporting key defence aviation programmes through effective maintenance documentation control, regulatory compliance, and technical record management. Reporting to the Operations Lead, the role is responsible for ensuring maintenance work packages, technical instructions, and aircraft records are accurately prepared, controlled, audited, and archived in line with Military Aviation Authority (MAA) standards and contractual requirements. The position requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage demanding workloads while maintaining accuracy, compliance, and delivery schedules within a highly regulated aviation environment.
