Key Responsibilities:
- Industry-standard SOC certifications (SANS, ISC2, etc.)
- 2+ years Tier 2/3 SOC Analyst experience
- Ability to triage security events, assess scope/priority/impact, and recommend remediation
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Extensive NEC contract knowledge (NEC3/NEC4).
- Strong procurement experience within the public sector (PCR 2015, PA 2023).
- Proven leadership experience managing teams in a high-volume, dynamic environment.
- Effective stakeholder management and influencing skills at senior levels.
- Experience in high value works procurement, including facilities management, construction, design, and cost management.
Essential Skills:
- Experience with SIEM tools (ArcSight) including engineering/configuration
- Creation of use cases, analytics, and playbooks
- Cloud technology knowledge
- Incident management from detection to resolution
Desirable:
- Technical/engineering/computing degree
- Leadership experience (Tier 2 acceptable)
- Defence experience
Responsibilities:
- Support info security delivery: policies, standards, processes
- Monitor and secure digital infrastructure, logs, and networks
- Perform penetration testing and compliance reviews
- Work in ITIL environment, using knowledge of anti-virus, networking, vulnerability management, encryption, Microsoft & Linux technologies, GDPR and Data Protection regulations
- Adapt to fast-moving incidents with creative problem solving
