Role Summary: Our globally leading aerospace client is seeking a Supply Chain Engineer/Logistic Support Analyst, who will support the Product Support and Supply Chain Engineering Multi-Programme Lead, working under the clients Product Support Programme/Functional Manager across a range of projects. The role focuses on providing technical supply-chain support, ensuring the accuracy of support documentation, and contributing to the smooth transition of programmes into sustainment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the initial point of contact for technical supply-chain queries relating to aircraft parts and their usage.
- Review Logistic Support Analysis (LSA) updates following baseline changes and advise the supply-chain team on any resulting spares amendments.
- Examine technical documentation to help identify suitable alternatives for long lead-time spares.
- Contribute to contingency planning and ensure programmes are effectively prepared for sustainment phases.
- Work closely with the LSA and Technical Publications team to ensure aircraft documentation is updated accurately.
- Collaborate with Product Support Engineers to resolve early-stage technical issues.
- Mentor supply-chain personnel in understanding and interpreting technical information.
- Support the review of Maintenance Task Analysis and vendor data to inform programme-specific Level of Repair Analysis (LORA).
Desired Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
- Knowledge of support engineering within military or defence environments.
- Experience in supply-chain engineering or logistics support analysis.
- Ability to interpret aircraft drawings and technical documentation.
- Competence in using aircraft document sets and contributing to support-product documentation.
- A degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant engineering discipline is desirable but not mandatory.
- Appropriate professional certifications or equivalent experience from an accredited institution.
