  • Support engineering audits, gap analyses, KPI monitoring, and process compliance activities.
  • Drive process standardisation, continuous improvement initiatives, and engineering governance alignment across teams.
  • Produce and maintain process documentation, communications, onboarding materials, and training guidance.
  • Support Engineering Process Councils, working groups, and governance forums while acting as an interface with Quality Assurance teams.
  • Assist with Technical Design Review (TDR) governance and engineering design practice integration across programmes.
  • Support implementation of engineering process effectiveness strategies and operational governance improvements.

  • Experience supporting Quality Management Systems, engineering audits, compliance activities, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, and UK defence or military engineering standards such as DEF STAN and JSP frameworks.
  • Understanding of systems engineering lifecycles across development, design, production, support, and maintenance environments.
  • Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), ERP, MOM systems, and digital engineering integration.
  • Familiarity with MBSE principles and modelling approaches, ideally including SysML and engineering traceability concepts.
  • Strong analytical, organisational, and structured problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate technical and regulatory information clearly across multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
